A domain is a website's “address”.
You probably know several by heart. One of the most popular domains in the world is www.google.com. Domains are what allow websites to be reached by users. As such they matter greatly and should reflect well on the brand.
Something like “SuperTastyFoodOnTheCornerOf123Avenue.com” is a poor domain choice for several reasons. It's too long, not memorable, and has zero brand value. A domain like “PartyNightPizza.com” is short, memorable, and would be much easier for someone to reference in a random conversation.
Domain business can be very confusing and discouraging for people who don't wish to spend time on it. A lack of interest in the setup process or frustrations often leads to people opting for solutions that cut corners - to the detriment of a site's visibility.
We handle all domain registration and management tasks on behalf of our partners. Domain renewals are billed to the client when it is time to renew. Domains that do not have their renewal fees submitted on time risk the website going down.
The web host is the physical location in which the website files live. A website with a domain but no host is literally just a “.com” address that doesn't appear anywhere on the internet. This is called a “parked domain”.
We also handle all hosting for our partners. Custom coded sites under our management are currently hosted on Cloudflare's network, which allows us to leverage their robust security and global reach. This is better than many other hosting solutions because Cloudflare is a trusted name in the technology space, and site data that is hosted with them has a much lower chance of being compromised.
